The next big thing after the Trash-The-Dress session is now probably the “Day After” Bridal Session. Or perhaps it came before?! Not quite sure but I had the privilege of having my “Day After” bridal session with Errol Colon. Although I may have stretched the day after concept a little far, I waited almost a year to have it done. Can we say procrastination?

For as much trouble as it is to find those must-have wedding vendors, who just “get you”, there is something a little sad about leaving behind the vendors who made your life just THAT much easier during the planning. One of my wedding vendor crushes (yes, I said one of…what can I say, maybe I was a little “easy” in those days) was my wedding dress shop, Something Blue Bridal and Formal Wear www.somethingbluebridalsalon.com. It’s not really a shock it’s where I spent the most time between hunting down the dress, getting my girls fitted, getting myself fitted and let’s not forget they did see me in my squivies on multiple occasions.

They are in search of the perfect gown; the perfect gown will eventually be complimented by the perfect cake. You see the dress and the cake go hand in hand. The cake will be decided by the style of the dress and the personality of the bride. The two will reflect the flair and tone of the wedding. Will it be formal, relaxed, traditional or just fun and contemporary?
